That person becomes part of this virtual world or is immersed within this environment and while there, is able to manipulate objects or perform a series of actions.
Will “The Sword of Baahubali” be available on YouTube?
“The Sword Of Baahubali" teaser and the full VR experience are not available on YouTube. This VR experience needs to be run on a HTC VIVE VR Head Mounted Display (HMD), and cannot be played on YouTube, or similar video streaming platforms.
How is “The Sword of Baahubali" different from 360 degree videos available on YouTube?
“The Sword of Baahubali" is built in a game engine, which allows the user to interact and engage with the virtual world in real time. Supported by high end Virtual Reality head sets, “The Sword Of Baahubali” transports the viewer into the computer created universe.
360-degree videos on other hand, also known as immersive videos, or spherical videos, are video recordings where a view in every direction is recorded at the same time, shot using an omnidirectional camera or a collection of cameras. During playback the viewer has control of the viewing direction, and is immersed in the scene.
