Anand Neelakantan

Anand is an Indian author born on 5 December 1973. Arguably, the author who invented a new genre in Indian Writing- The counter telling of Mythology. Anand’s books are thought provoking and deal with logically viewing the well-known stories through a new prism. He has authored three books namely Asura: Tale Of The Vanquished, Roll of the Dice: Duryodhana’s Mahabharata (Ajaya Book 1) & Rise Of Kali (Ajaya Book 2) which are based on the Indian epics of Ramayana & Mahabharata. Anand was recently awarded with the prestigious 'Literature Legend Award' by Lit-O-Fest, India's premier literature, music and art festival.

He is currently developing a 3 book series based on S.S. Rajamouli's Baahubali. The first book from the series, Baahubali Before The Beginning - The Rise Of Sivagami, will release in March, 2017.

Apart from being an author, Anand has also worked on leading television series like Siya Ke Ram, Adalat, Mahabali Hanuman, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat and more. He is a corporate trainer who imparts training to leading corporations in India and has also spoken at TEDx and many other educational institutions & literature festivals.
